There is nothing like meeting your child for the first time. I can't even describe the feeling of holding them in your arms. The sweet newborn smell. Their soft skin, tiny fingers, and delicate little toes. It's amazing how quickly they change, almost before your eyes. Newborns always have a special place in my heart. I love providing the sweet families who hire me with timeless images of their precious babies. My favorite thing about being a Houston newborn photographer is stopping time with one click, so they stay that small forever. 

Before you know it they move into the next diaper size. They sleep through the night. They start kindergarten and all of a sudden they are off on their own. It's amazing and heartbreaking all at the same time. I'd love to freeze these fleeting moments for you!

when to schedule?

I pre-book newborn sessions based on due dates and the actual session is scheduled when your little one is born. I only accept a limited number of pre-bookings a month to guarantee you a spot in my calendar, so I recommend booking sometime during the second trimester. Because of the unpredictability of when babies are born, I sometimes have last-minute openings for newborn sessions. I recommend having the session done when your baby is between 9-15 days old. This is typically when they sleep more deeply and curl into those adorable newborn poses you see in my gallery. Older babies up to the age of 5 weeks can be accommodated if I have any openings in my schedule. Please inquire about availability.
